NOTES:

  1. The Museum Board shall consist of not less than ten (10) nor more than sixteen (16) trustees. Of these, the Town Board representative shall be appointed by the Village Board of Trustees upon the recommendation of the Town Council. All other trustees shall be appointed by the Village Board of Trustees, upon recommendation of the Museum Board.
  2. An Oath of Office is required.
  3. Appointments are for three-year terms.
  4. Museum Board Meetings are held on a bi-monthly basis, at the convenience of the Board; the Annual Meeting is held in January each year.
  5. At a Regular Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees held on December 18, 2006, Miriam VanDeusen, 5 East Drive, Potsdam, New York was appointed provisional Director of the Museum.
  6. At a Regular Meeting of the Village Board of Trustees held on March 21, 1994, the Board appointed the Potsdam Public Museum to act as Official Village of Potsdam Historian.
